SPRING INTO 2021

The Foundry serves as Cleveland’s Community Rowing & Sailing Center impacting the lives of our community's youth by providing access to the unique experiences of both rowing and sailing. As a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic and State of Ohio Responsible Restart initiative, the Foundry responded by pivoting towards small groups and individualized equipment.

[20] NEW WINTEC SINGLE RACING SHELLS ARE SLATED TO CALL THE FOUNDRY HOME with 14 currently on the rack, Foundry Rowing is gearing up for Spring 2021

Join us TODAY as we look ahead to Spring 2021. Together we can continue to provide our young rowers with a safe and rewarding experience as we grow our fleet of single sculls. The Foundry has continued investing since gaining the (4) Stand Up Paddle Boards of summer, adding (20) single racing shells to what will become our first Sculling Program. With the first shipment of (8) shells arriving early September, over 75 middle and high school athletes this fall were able to experience and excel at sculling - nearly all, for the first time! The Foundry is committed to acquiring additional assets that will include various weight and level appropriate single rowing shells in an effort to accommodate all rowers from the novice trainer to high performance racers. With your support, by the Spring 2021 season, the Foundry will have a full fleet of 26 single rowing shells!

ABOUT THE FOUNDRY

Established in the years of 2015 and 2017 Foundry 501(c) (3) organizations are Cleveland's youth focused non-profit centers for Rowing and Sailing. The Foundry provides access and training through rowing programming on the Cuyahoga River, launching from the Foundry's main campus Columbus Road rowing docks. The Foundry also provides a variety of sailing programming on Lake Erie launching from the Historic Coast Guard Station at Whiskey Island and the E.55th Street Marina in partnership with the Cleveland Metro Parks. Your recognition and support of the Foundry's passion and mission will help provide student-athletes with opportunities to experience the transformative powers of rowing and sailing, engaging the development of a young person now, and for life.
